Good morning! I am excited to tell you about a project myself and Emma @vintagesewingbox have planned for March. Isn’t it great how IG can connect you with kindred spirits you wouldn’t meet otherwise, like Emma who is also partial to a tiny hexagon 😂. We would love you to join us in a celebration of slow stitching during the month of March. It’s all about setting some time aside, even if it’s only 10 minutes a day to work on a stitching project - sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet - it doesn’t matter what you are working on. Taking time out to spend time creating something, and appreciating that good things take time to make and that’s not a bad thing. What do I love about slow stitching? It helps ground me if I am feeling anxious, the rhythm of it is soothing. I get ‘itchy’ hands if I try to watch TV or a film without sewing something! It also gives me headspace and a chance to step outside of ‘busy’ for a while, which I think everyone can benefit from. Please join in if you can, and feel the benefit of allowing yourself the time to appreciate the art of making, and let me know if you are planning too ❤️✂️❤️
